Head of Marketing Operations

Salary: £65k - £85k

Are you a strategic marketing leader with a passion for operational excellence? We’re looking for a Head of Marketing Operations to drive efficiency, innovation, and performance across of this successful marketing function. This is a pivotal role where you’ll lead the engine room of our marketing efforts ensuring seamless execution, smart spend, and high-impact campaigns across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Marketing Production: Oversee internal creative teams to deliver high-quality content and campaigns.
  • Manage Agency Partnerships: Build strong, cost-effective relationships with external agencies.
  • Optimise Cross-Channel Operations: Drive performance across digital, print, broadcast, and experiential marketing.
  • Maximise ROI: Monitor and refine marketing budgets to ensure every pound delivers value.
  • Streamline Processes: Improve workflows for campaign execution, approvals, and reporting.
  • Leverage Data & Tech: Use analytics and automation tools to enhance decision-making and productivity.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Align marketing operations with creative, media, and commercial goals.
  • Ensure Compliance & Brand Integrity: Uphold regulatory standards and brand consistency across all touchpoints

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing operations within a retail or consumer-facing environment.
  • Deep knowledge of marketing production and agency collaboration.
  • Expertise across digital and traditional media (social, search, TV, print, OOH, etc.).
  • Strong budget management and ROI optimisation skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics, automation platforms, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • A passion for process improvement and operational innovation.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills.
  • Confident communicator, able to influence senior leadership and external partners.
