Interim Marketing Position - 6 Months

Our client, a leading B2B business in London, is seeking an interim Senior Marketing and Communications Manager for a 6-month period. The role involves managing one direct report and requires experience in maritime and energy sectors.

About Our Client

A prominent B2B company in London, looking to fill a senior marketing role with expertise in maritime and energy industries.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Division and Group teams to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies aligned with company priorities.
  2. Partner with Strategy/Business Development teams to gather market intelligence to inform marketing plans.
  3. Lead marketing content creation and campaigns across appropriate channels tailored to maritime customer needs.
  4. Work closely with the Digital team to leverage digital channels and manage marketing technology tools.
  5. Create and execute internal communications plans and tactics.
  6. Develop external communications strategies and activities.
  7. Manage and coordinate key tradeshows and events in collaboration with the team.
  8. Support leadership engagement through meetings such as QBRs, strategy sessions, and safety stand-downs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Degree in marketing, business, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing, both in-house and agency roles.
  • Strong creative background with expertise in design and campaign development.
  • Knowledge and experience in the maritime sector.
  • Broad experience encompassing marketing, internal/external communications, and event management.
  • Proven ability to work with leadership teams and deliver high standards.
  • Passionate about safety and able to demonstrate this commitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and budget management skills.
