Job description

Location: London, Hybrid 3 days in the office

Role type: 9-month FTC

This global company is a leader in providing high-quality content, data, and events to professionals in private equity, venture capital, and real estate. Known for innovation, they offer valuable insights that help clients navigate complex markets and make informed decisions.

Role

Partnering with marketing leaders, you’ll drive data strategies that power targeted campaigns across subscriptions, events, sponsorships, and more. You'll build and lead a high-performing team of data specialists to support these goals.

You'll also seek out new data sources, refine targeting processes, and ensure data quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop data plans to achieve business objectives (to increase subscriber and network volumes, orders and revenue from delegates and sponsors).
  2. Collaborate with global asset class marketing teams to identify target audiences, source and select data, and manage the execution, tracking, and analysis of marketing campaigns.
  3. Leverage tools like Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Marketo to maximise marketing performance and data insights.
  4. Lead briefings and training sessions with the marketing team to embed data-driven planning.
  5. Work closely with the Data Science team and marketing managers to create post-campaign analysis reports that are accurate, timely, reviewed regularly, and actionable.

Requirements:

  • Extensive marketing data industry experience gained within B2B financial services, business information, or events organisations.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, work under pressure, recruit, and manage a high-performing team.
  • Good understanding of structured query language (SQL) for manipulating data from large data warehouses.
  • Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulations and other privacy frameworks and their application within data-driven marketing environments.
