Head of Marketing & Communication (M/F)

ThrustMe is a fast-growing deep-tech industrial company, driven by innovation and sustainability. As a pioneer in advanced in-orbit propulsion solutions for satellites, we became the first in the world to demonstrate an iodine-fuelled electric propulsion system in space. Today we are leading the industrial space era, delivering systems at scale to clients worldwide. With more than 200 systems launched and a new product line coming to market, we are scaling rapidly and strengthening our global presence.

We are now looking for a Head of Marketing & Communication to establish and lead this function at ThrustMe.

As Head of Marketing & Communication, you will lead the Marketing & Communication function within ThrustMe’s Commercial Department. You will be responsible for building and managing a strong company and product brand, taking our branding and marketing from the teenager phase of a scale-up to the maturity of a global industrial leader. You will also drive internal and external communications and deliver market insights that support business growth.

In the near term, this is a hands-on role, supported by one engineer (attached to the Engineering team). You are expected to expand capabilities by engaging agencies and freelancers before progressively building a dedicated in-house team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a strong company and product brand, with a clear marketing toolbox.
  • Drive internal and external communication with clarity and authenticity.
  • Develop and deliver market reports, competitive intelligence, and customer insights.
  • Set up and follow KPIs to ensure marketing and communicaiton impact and ROI.
  • Over time, recruit, structure, and lead a dedicated Marketing & Communication team.

Your profile:

  • 5–8 years of B2B marketing and communication experience, ideally in aerospace or other deep technical industries.
  • Strong track record in communication, brand management, and product marketing.
  • Hands-on, autonomous and collaborative with a strategic mindset.
  • Comfortable working with external partners and gradually building an internal team.
  • Passionate about innovation and motivated by working in a fast-scaling, science and engineering driven international company.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI-tools effectively while ensuring a human, authentic communication and marketing voice.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and French.
