Job Specification: Head of Marketing

Position: Head of Marketing

Reporting To: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to join our team, responsible for driving the

overall marketing strategy and execution. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong

focus on both lower and upper funnel activations, extensive experience in the UK and US

markets, and a passion for beauty and consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy Development:

- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive both brand

awareness and conversion for P.Louise products across the UK and US market

- Collaborate with the CMO to align the marketing strategy with overarching business

goals.

2. Funnel Activation:

- Lead initiatives for both lower and upper funnel activations, ensuring a seamless

customer journey from awareness to conversion.

- Optimise the customer acquisition and retention strategies for maximum effectiveness.

3. Content Team Oversight

- Manage and oversee the content team to ensure all marketing materials, campaigns,

and social media content position P.Louise as the leading beauty and experience brand

in the UK

- Implement best practices for content creation across all platforms, focusing on

engagement and performance metrics.

4. TikTok Management:

- Oversee the TikTok Shop Live team, driving creative and innovative strategies to

enhance our presence and sales on the platform and retain our position as Number 1

TikTok Shop in beauty.

- Collaborate with internal TikTok partners to maximise reach and engagement.

5. Experiential Marketing:

- Strategise and manage the annual experiential calendar, ensuring impactful brand

experiences that resonate with our target audience.

- Ensure the success of experiential initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly to deliver

target ROI

6. Influencer and Influencer Affiliate strategy and management:

- Lead the management of the in-house team to drive effective campaigns that enhance ROI.

- Foster strong relationships with platform partners to ensure efficiency and market leading execution

7. PR and Media Strategy:

- Oversee the PR agency and media strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and

positioning across all channels.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets to enhance brand visibility

and reputation.

8. Insights and Strategy:

- Deliver insights from marketing initiatives to inform business and product strategy,

ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer needs.

- Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and identify new opportunities for

growth.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within the beauty or consumer goods

Sector and beauty retail

- Strong understanding of both lower and but with a focus on upper funnel marketing strategies and tactics.

- Demonstrated experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.

- In-depth knowledge of the UK and US beauty markets and consumer behaviours.

- Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data to inform strategy.
