Who you are

Previously known as Vance, Aspora offers cross-border financial services for communities, with a focus on the Indian diaspora living outside their home countries. With 250,000 non-resident Indian (NRI) users actively engaging with Aspora, the startup has expanded to several countries.

What the job involves
  • Global Brand Strategy – Define Aspora’s voice, visual identity, and positioning across regions, allowing for local adaptation.
  • Product & Geography Launches – Develop end-to-end go-to-market plans that generate explosive awareness in the first week and sustain growth.
  • Integrated Campaigns – Combine paid, owned, earned, and experiential marketing into a cohesive calendar; measure share-of-voice, CAC, and other KPIs.
  • Content & Storytelling Engine – Transform complex financial products into engaging narratives, thought leadership, and social moments.
  • Creative & Production – Manage in-house teams and external agencies to produce impactful assets.
  • Influencer & Community Programs – Activate diaspora creators, ambassadors, and customers to promote Aspora authentically.
  • Team Building – Recruit, mentor, and inspire a small, dynamic team across brand, growth, and communications.
Additional Requirements
  • 6+ years leading brand and marketing in high-growth tech or fintech across multiple regions.
  • Proven success in launching culture-hacking initiatives (examples preferred).
  • Portfolio demonstrating world-class storytelling—from viral videos to long-form thought leadership.
  • Mastery of funnel analytics, attribution, and experimentation; proficiency in GA, Looker, Amplitude, or similar tools.
  • Experience managing agencies, creators, and in-house creative teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex regulatory language.
  • Startup mindset: proactive, adaptable to ambiguity, and hands-on attitude.
