We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts, drive brand growth, and support our ambitious expansion plans.
Job Overview
The Head of Marketing will spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy to elevate K&G Hospitality’s brand, boost customer engagement, and drive revenue across our current and upcoming venues. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will manage our existing marketing team, lead pre-opening campaigns for new venues, and oversee all marketing initiatives, including digital advertising, PR, and brand collaborations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in experience-led or ticket/event-led hospitality marketing, deep commercial expertise, and established connections with alcohol brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Positioning:Develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity across all venues, ensuring alignment with our vibrant, music-led, and culinary-driven ethos. Craft compelling narratives that highlight our unique offerings, from live music events to immersive dining experiences.
- Campaign Creation & Execution:Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, offline, PR) to drive footfall, event attendance, and bookings for existing venues and new openings.
- Pre-Opening Campaigns: Develop and execute high-impact marketing campaigns for the launch of two new venues, including market research, localised advertising, and community engagement strategies to build anticipation and drive footfall.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small junior marketing team, fostering creativity, ensuring accountability, and guiding campaign execution.
- PR and Comms: Lead all public relations initiatives, including media relations, press releases, and influencer partnerships, to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Venue Collaboration: Work closely with venue sales and programming teams to align marketing efforts with event schedules, venue offerings, and sales goals, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Brand Collaborations: Lead strategic partnerships and collaborations, particularly with alcohol brands, leveraging existing industry connections to create co-branded campaigns, events, and promotions.
- Event Promotion: Drive marketing and promotion initiatives for events, ensuring all commercial and brand targets are being achieved
- Customer Engagement: Develop and implement customer loyalty programs, promotions, and partnerships to increase guest retention and attract new patrons.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies that align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of marketing experience, within hospitality, multi-site restaurants, or experiential led F&B concepts. Proven success in campaign creation and execution, with 1–2 years of experience supporting new venue openings.
- Proven success in delivering pre-opening marketing campaigns for hospitality venues, with a track record of driving awareness and footfall.
- Established connections with alcohol brands and experience leading brand collaborations in the hospitality or beverage industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead PR initiatives, including media relations and influencer partnerships.
- Experience managing and motivating a marketing team, including in-house and outsourced roles.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with venue sales and programming teams.
- Creative mindset with a talent for storytelling and crafting engaging brand narratives.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
