Maldon Salt, renowned for its rich heritage and exquisite flavour, is on the lookout for a visionary Head of Marketing to elevate its ambitious international plans.

If you’re passionate about driving impactful product launches and crafting compelling campaigns that captivate audiences worldwide, then this is your chance to do that for one of the world’s best-loved Food brands.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Develop and oversee the delivery of a clear brand strategy for the UK & Export markets as part of a 3-5 year business plan.
  2. Collaborate closely with the NPD team, Commercial Director, Innovation team, and Sales.
  3. Work with local markets and International Marketing to ensure the Global brand strategy, essence, and positioning are understood and followed, maintaining consistency with Maldon Salt brand guidelines.
  4. Implement a new digital strategy encompassing PR, Social Media, and Influencer marketing to increase engagement and improve conversion rates globally.
  5. Manage suppliers and creative agencies, fostering strong relationships to ensure excellent service and value for money.
  6. Coach and develop direct reports (Assistant Brand Manager) and indirect reports (Marketing Executive).

About You:

  1. Extensive brand marketing experience, preferably in the Food Industry (FMCG or consumer goods considered).
  2. Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail, understanding customer and consumer needs.
  3. Strong mentorship skills, with integrity and good values.
  4. Alignment with Company Values: Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, Drive & Growth.
  5. Passion for food with a robust understanding of brand and heritage.
