Sound like an exciting place to be? It is — and now, we’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead this dynamic team and accelerate growth across our Simplyhealth and Denplan brands.
This is a critical leadership role reporting to our Sales & Marketing Director. You'll be a senior member of the leadership team, shaping our go-to-market strategy and ensuring everything we do puts the customer at the centre. You’ll lead the charge in building a marketing engine that’s deeply connected to the product, driven by data & customer insights, and obsessed with our customers. You’ll work closely with our Product, Sales and Service teams to ensure our messaging resonates, our users are engaged, and our growth is sustainable.
Key responsibilities
- People leadership of the marketing function covering campaign strategy and execution, proposition design and development, digital trading and engagement, and event strategy and execution that leverages enhanced customer insights and increased brand awareness to deliver a high-quality sales pipeline
- Setting and executing the marketing strategy, enabling a significant improvement in digital and sales conversion through innovative approaches and the effective utilisation of marketing technology
- Building a high-performing team covering campaign strategy and execution, proposition design and development, digital trading and engagement, and event strategy and execution
- Balancing the optimisation of existing routes to market (intermediary, corporate) alongside creating and growing new channels (digital, direct, B2B2C)
About You
You’ll bring strategic vision, bold thinking, and hands-on leadership. You’re commercially savvy, customer-obsessed, and data-driven, with a proven track record of marketing that makes a real business impact.
To be considered you must have:
- Senior marketing leadership experience, with a track record of building highly engaged high-performing teams
- Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and improving sales and conversion rates through marketing initiatives
- Data-centric leadership; significant experience utilising behavioural insights/ market analysis/ channel analysis and similar data to inform marketing practices, as well as guide and influence product propositions/product change resulting in better customer outcomes
- Experience of B2B, partnership, corporate, employee and consumer marketing
- A love of spending time with our customers, using your insight and learning to shape our approach
- Experienced working with Agile methodologies and in a product-led way
- Exemplary commercial awareness and clear understanding of profitability measures/levers – including P&L
- Effective influencer and communicator for stakeholder management at the highest level– Ex Co and Board
- Highly collaborative – able to create and maintain high-impact relationships with peers to optimise organisational performance – include constructive challenge
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, thrive with challenge
- A team player with initiative, enthusiasm, commitment, and creative flair– ability to align to product-led strategies
- Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative

We have a head office in Hampshire but, you’ll be able to enjoy our ‘smart working’ approach. This means you can flex when and where you spend your time but should expect to be in the office on average 1-2 days per week. Much of the work can be handled remotely, but there will also be times when we need to come together in the office to collaborate, for leadership meetings, to attend training sessions, for induction, all colleague briefings and more.
