Job summary

The Oyster Partnership in London is seeking an experienced Head of Major Projects to lead a significant programme of capital projects across a large property portfolio. This strategic role provides oversight from inception through to completion, ensuring governance and delivery against time, cost and quality objectives.

You will manage a portfolio of refurbishment, planned maintenance and decarbonisation schemes, lead senior stakeholders, and drive procurement strategies while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex capital projects and programmes.
• Strong understanding of construction, refurbishment, and project delivery processes.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Professional qualification or membership (RICS/CIOB/RIBA) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Head of Major Projects

Day Rate: £700 - £750 per day (Umbrella)

Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office

We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Major Projects to lead the delivery of a significant programme of capital projects across a large and varied property portfolio. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-value refurbishment, planned maintenance, decarbonisation and capital projects from inception through to completion. You will provide programme-wide oversight, ensure effective governance and drive successful delivery against time, cost and quality objectives.
