You can expect variety in your role as Head of Maintenance. You'll handle tasks within the care home building, gardens, and grounds. This could include fixing a leaky tap or planting bulbs. You should be comfortable working independently, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. Additionally, you'll liaise with contractors for tasks outside your team's expertise.

ABOUT YOU
The wellbeing of our residents will be your top priority. You will ensure all work is carried out with sensitivity to their needs. With hands-on property maintenance experience, you'll possess at least one trade skill and ideally have a broad range of maintenance capabilities. Reliability and flexibility in working hours are essential. A full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are required.
