Job description

As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll be responsible for ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment for residents and staff. You'll have a wide range of maintenance tasks, from fixing leaks to gardening, and will also be required to manage a team and liaise with contractors. Your priority will be the wellbeing of the residents, and you'll need to be reliable, flexible, and possess strong IT and people skills.

With hands-on experience of property maintenance, you'll have at least one trade skill and, ideally, a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks. You should be reliable and flexible regarding your working hours. This role also calls for a full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
