Daniel Owen Ltd in Oxford is seeking an experienced Head of Maintenance to lead our multi-site facilities team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safe, compliant and efficient delivery of maintenance services across the portfolio, with an immediate-start basis.

You will manage day-to-day maintenance, oversee PPM and reactive repairs, ensure statutory compliance, lead contractors, monitor budgets, drive health and safety, and develop maintenance staff to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Senior maintenance, estates, facilities, or property management experience.
• Knowledge of building compliance and health & safety legislation.
• Experience leading maintenance or engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong budget management and cost-control experience.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) is essential and must be in place before starting.
• Available for an immediate start.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Maintenance to join a busy organisation on an immediate–start basis. This is a hands–on leadership role responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of maintenance services across a multi–site portfolio.

Head of Maintenance Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day–to–day maintenance function.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Ensure statutory compliance across building services and facilities.

• Monitor maintenance budgets and expenditure.
• Drive health & safety best practices and compliance.

Head of Maintenance Requirements:

• Previous experience in a senior maintenance, estates, facilities, or property management role.
• Strong knowledge of building compliance, health & safety legislation, and statutory maintenance requirements.
• Experience leading and developing maintenance or engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast–paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong budget management and cost–control experience.
• Relevant facilities, engineering, building services, or construction qualification desirable.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) is essential and must be in place before starting.
• Available for an immediate start.
