United Fintech is experiencing rapid growth as we transform the fintech landscape by uniting innovative capital markets solutions under one roof. We are seeking a Head of M&A and Funding to work from our modern Copenhagen office. This role places you at the heart of our business and strategy, significantly influencing our growth. Your main responsibilities will include driving our M&A workstream—from deal sourcing to execution—and fundraising from major financial institutions. You will also liaise with the Board and investors, working closely with the Founder and CEO to expand United Fintech and shape the future of global financial technology.

We leverage technology and digital systems to automate our processes—including M&A—building a structured, scalable foundation for acquisitions and rapid growth. Your impact will be felt through shortened acquisition cycles and accelerated expansion. People development is also key; you will initially manage one analyst.

We seek a leader capable of managing multiple M&A tracks simultaneously. You should think strategically and ahead—building a foundation for identifying, assessing, and acquiring multiple companies annually, while managing fundraising and shareholder relations. This requires a strategic, analytical leader who can synthesize complex data to enable high-quality decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and manage the deal pipeline, identifying and analyzing potential targets
• Prioritize targets with the Management team using a strategic approach
• Execute transactions, including coordinating due diligence and contract negotiations
• Produce decision-making recommendations and supporting analysis for the Board and investors
• Source, coordinate, and execute funding rounds for new investments and growth
• Lead due diligence processes across all key areas efficiently
• Prepare Board, shareholder, and investor documents, including structured presentations
• Build and maintain relationships with global equity and debt providers
• Manage internal and external stakeholders through strong coordination and communication

Role Requirements

• Hands-on M&A expertise from sourcing to execution
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at a top-tier bank
• Experience managing capital raises—both debt and equity
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify multi-investment opportunities
• Strong understanding of global fintech trends and value drivers
• Execution-oriented, entrepreneurial, and a self-starter
• Skilled at handling multiple tasks through coordinated effort
• Passionate about structure, automation, and reducing manual work
• Experience in B2B SaaS or rapid scale-up environments preferred
• Strong analytical skills focused on process improvement and efficiency

Specifics

This is a full-time role reporting to the Founder and CEO, located at Holmens Kanal 7, Copenhagen. Some international travel is expected. The application deadline is May 30th, 2025. Early applications are encouraged as reviews are ongoing.
