Job description

Join to apply for the Head of LPGP Networks EMEA role at PEI

PEI Group is a subscriber-focused business intelligence company. Our purpose is to inform and connect investment professionals across global, specialised markets. Our membership offering is designed to provide a year-round service to LPs and GPs, enabling them to expand their networks and stay connected to the insight and expertise they need to be successful.

The Network Head is the nucleus of PEI’s LP/GP community in Europe and plays a pivotal role in developing products and services that support PEI to build ever-stronger relationships with our customers and drive the growth of membership-type revenue.

They are constantly taking the pulse of the market and its participants, speaking to members, assessing trends and deeply understanding members’ evolving needs and views on the markets they participate in.

Using their market and member insight, the core responsibilities are to develop and execute the engagement plan that drives member interaction with the network services throughout the year. This includes an annual schedule of touchpoints that gather the right members together at the right time, around the right topics and that also deliver opportunities for high-quality data and content extraction that feeds value back to the wider membership.

  • Conduct frequent conversations with customers, collating this with data from feedback provided by the member relations team and other experts within PEI.
  • Deliver a creative, dynamic, responsive and innovative programme of key meetings (online and offline) for your network(s) that reflect your members’ needs and requirements and that members recognise as high value in helping them achieve success in their day to day roles.
  • Drive adherence to agreed milestones associated with the delivery of product to market and be ready to defend your programme with data to evidence.
  • Use member intelligence and industry knowledge to enable the member relations team to connect members to the people, content and opportunities that align to their evolving needs.
  • Understand the education needs of your network members, identify themes or challenges that present PEI with the opportunity to create unique and proprietary content to meet the needs of members and further their dependency or perception of PEI’s capabilities. Harness opportunities to present PEI as a data-driven organisation, utilizing R&A data and research reports, working closely with Adam Smallman and the editorial business to curate this information for digest by your members.
  • Provide opportunities for members to interact with or feedback to other members around specific topics they have an opinion or expertise on.
  • Listen out for opportunities to connect members not only on a transactional level, but a personal and regional or special interest level, or around specific areas of expertise and advise sought.
  • Maintain deep and rich profile information on your members in PEI systems (CRM and the Member Hubs) to ensure the Member Services team can appropriately create service plans that meet their needs and other teams in the business can appropriately position products and services that are relevant to the individual and organisation.
  • Roll out special interest groups, ensuring that every eligible member has the opportunity to opt in to groups meetings, special information flows or tailored content.
