Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain is partnering with an international regulated manufacturing and distribution business to find a Head of Transport for their bulk tanker division.

The Role:

• Accountable for leading the Tanker operations to meet performance targets and comply with statutory & governance requirements.
• Provide support and technical authority to transport operations.
• Develop and implement strategies aligned with global best practices.
• Ensure internal transport services comply with company policies, including contractor compliance.
• Drive operational strategies as part of the leadership team.
• Collaborate with sales, customers, and supply chain to deliver service levels and establish commercial frameworks.
• Lead business improvements and communicate developments to stakeholders and external bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead bulk and cryogenic delivery operations, ensuring performance and compliance.
• Negotiate and develop relations with trade unions and Driver Working Group.
• Develop policies and programs for transport platforms, aligning with industry standards.
• Contribute to business strategy development and implementation.
• Manage change initiatives and develop team capabilities.
• Create plans for performance targets and oversee budget management and KPI reporting.
