Overview

We are working exclusively with a high-growth SaaS/Technology business in their search for a Head of Legal. The company has completed a private equity takeover and is in an exciting growth phase. They are seeking an experienced commercial lawyer with a strong understanding of complex commercial contracts negotiations, compliance & data matters, to lead on the business as usual commercial law matters and manage a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on business as usual, core commercial contracts and related negotiations.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to the CEO and senior leadership; design and implement more efficient ways of working for legal operations.
• Manage a small team of junior lawyers and compliance professionals; oversee stakeholder management as the lead lawyer in the organisation.
• Support compliance, data protection and related regulatory matters as part of the legal remit.

Compensation & Location

Base salary circa £130,000 with attractive wider perks. The business operates a hybrid working policy and requires some office contact in the West Midlands.
