Job summary

Leigh Academy Rainham is seeking a Head of Learning for the MFL department to drive curriculum quality and student outcomes. The role starts January 2027 and requires experience in leading a department and supporting staff within a collaborative Trust.

You will shape teaching and learning in modern facilities, work within a values-driven school, and contribute to Leigh Academies Trust training and development offerings, including safeguarding commitments.

Leigh Academy Rainham is looking for a Head of Learning - MFL to lead our department starting in January 2027. This is a role for an experienced teacher who is ready to move into a leadership position where they can actually influence how the subject is taught. We’re a successful, growing school, and we need someone who can maintain high standards while keeping the curriculum relevant and engaging for our students.
