Job summary

A leading hotel management group in the UK is looking for a Learning and Development professional to enhance training frameworks across multiple brands. The ideal candidate will possess a strong hospitality background, have experience in leading L&D teams, and be able to influence various stakeholders. This role involves developing training content, partnering with management to address needs, and transitioning L&D from reactive to proactive planning. What you’ll get up to…

• Create learning frameworks and pathways across all levels (HOD, GM, apprenticeships, soft skills, compliance)
• Develop group-wide L&D content and programmes suitable for a multi-brand portfolio
• Partner with GMs to understand development needs and deliver value centrally
• Work with the Training manager and Training officer to shift L&D from reactive to strategic, proactive planning
• Strong hotel or hospitality background (hotel management company experience ideal)
• Strategic thinker with ability to create frameworks, not just deliver training
• Experienced leading small L&D teams
• Comfortable working across multi-brand environments with varied owner priorities
• Confident communicator able to influence execs, GMs and site teams
• Creative, forward-thinking and passionate about modern learning trends
