Job summary

IG Group in London seeks a Senior Manager, KYC Risk & Assurance to lead the new first-line KYC risk function. You will oversee QA across onboarding, EDD decisions, and governance, partnering with second-line Compliance and Financial Crime to embed standards.

You will manage a three-person team across the UK and Poland, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, well-documented risk decisions while safeguarding client experience and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial crime AML experience with UK MLRs/JMLSG guidance.
• Proven leadership of KYC/AML operations or QA teams and developing people.
• Experience designing and running QA frameworks over KYC and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Design, own and run a risk-based QA framework over onboarding and EDD.
• Lead EDD specialists in delivering due diligence on high-risk clients.
• Act as senior first-line decision-maker on complex onboarding cases and document decisions.
