Head of Key Accounts

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Key Accounts to join our Team based at our Addlestone Office in Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of key accounts and the creation and periodic review of the Schindler Key Account strategy based on market and customer needs and alignment with the Executive Board, taking into account the Group's international key account strategy. This is a permanent and full time position.


What you'll be doing:

  • Growing and expanding of the Existing Installations portfolio, repairs and modernisations of key accounts
  • Achieving budget targets and key account plans
  • Strategic development of key account management
  • Ensuring that quality, environmental and safety rules are known and complied with in its own area
    Managing approximately between 5-7 direct reports
  • Working in accordance with established Company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and Schindler Core Values to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements and Schindler Group Safety requirements
  • Attending all relevant Training Sessions
  • Carrying out all works in accordance with the Company’s Quality Corporate Policy
  • Contributing to the Company’s Safety Objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to its Safety Management System

What we're looking for:

  • Strong Sales/ Key Accounts experience in the sale of capital goods
  • Demonstrable experience of leading a successful Team
  • Knowledge of the elevator and real estate market
  • SAP, SuccessFactors knowledge desirable (MS Power BI knowledge is an advantage)
  • Strategic, analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Networking, communication and negotiation skills, a stong team player
