Job summary

The University of Exeter, in partnership with the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, seeks a senior leader to head the Joint Partnership Office. The role focuses on strategy, governance, and scaled joint initiatives across research, education and innovation.

You will lead the evolution of the joint office, align objectives and KPIs, and manage complex budgets and contracts while working in a hybrid model with most time on site.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership in health research partnerships.
• Experience designing governance models and joint offices.
• Track record of managing complex budgets and contracts.
• Experience in HE/research environments (NHS R&D desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and implementation plan for joint partnership office.
• Establish governance structures, KPIs, and working arrangements.
• Lead stakeholder relationships across University of Exeter and Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
• Oversee budgets and contracts for the joint office.
