Job summary

Pro-Connexions is recruiting a Head of IT Services / Head of Technology to lead the organisation’s IT strategy and operations. The role covers infrastructure, applications, networks, cyber security, telecoms, and end-user services in a regulated charity setting.

You will manage budgets, report to the board, and steward MSPs and suppliers while developing a capable IT team with a focus on resilience and compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant IT leadership experience across infrastructure, applications, networks and service management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365) AD, SharePoint and networking.
• Experience with cloud computing, SaaS delivery and cyber security within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership across IT infrastructure, applications, networks, cyber security, telecommunications, end-user services and ITSM.
• Oversee projects and budgets; produce board reports for governance and strategy.
• Manage relationships with MSPs, suppliers and stakeholders; motivate and develop a diverse IT team.

Head of IT Services / Head of Technology/ Head of IT - Hybrid role - Harlow, Essex, CM19-

The Head of IT Services/ Head of Technology/ Head of IT is a senior technology leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, development, operation and continual improvement of the organisation's IT services and technology infrastructure.

Working within a regulated and highly accountable charity environment, the postholder will provide leadership across IT infrastructure, applications, networks, cyber security, telecommunications, end-user services and IT service management. They will ensure that technology is secure, resilient, compliant, cost-effective and aligned to the organisation's strategic objectives and charitable mission.

Successful Head of IT Services / Head of Technology/ Head of IT should have significant IT experience, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies(M365) AD, SharePoint & Networking, Virtualisation, Cloud Computing/ SaaS & knowledge of various software systems.

Head of IT Services / Head of Technology/ Head of IT -As well as management of projects and budgets, board reports, you'll also need experience of managing relationships with MSP's, suppliers, Stakeholder's and have the ability and previous experience of motivating and developing a diverse IT team.

Head of IT Services / Head of Technology/ Head of IT needs to have very strong man management skills and preferably have experience with working within non-profit environment such as Charity, healthcare, financial services, public sector or another regulated environment.
