We are looking to recruit a Head of IT Operations (UK & IRE), based at our head office in York.
This role is integral to managing the day-to-day operations of all VetPartners' IT solutions for the UK & Ireland.
The individual in this role will report to the UK Managing Director and closely collaborate with the Group Technology & Information Security Directors. The key responsibilities include ensuring optimal operational performance of technology solutions within the UK & Ireland and implementing new solutions that adhere to our group technology standards.
We are searching for a candidate with experience in complex organizations, akin to a managed service provider, but who also possesses the flexibility and adaptability of an entrepreneurial business. They will manage local country third-party IT providers and work closely with the Group technology and security functions to ensure a consistent, secure, and robust technology stack supporting our practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day operations of all VetPartners' IT solutions.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will create a culture of continuous professional development, transition new ways of working into business-as-usual, and continuously improve capabilities and optimize processes.
