Job Description

As Head of IT Operations, your key responsibilities include managing the company's IT, Telecoms & Hardware. You will oversee specialist IT service partners and consultants. The role emphasizes IT security, risk management, and compliance (CE, DRP, ISO). Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated with innovative IT solutions and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Implement proactive measures against cyber threats and IT risks, maintain an IT risk register, and apply mitigation strategies.
  • Support the development and management of IT Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Oversee Change Management processes for IT systems and infrastructure updates.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party IT providers and suppliers.
  • Handle IT support requests from staff.
  • Manage mobile device accounts, asset inventories, invoices, and hardware procurement.
  • Participate in training to enhance skills.
  • Ensure IT issues are resolved within SLAs, with proper communication and escalation.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for staff IT access.
  • Administer employee mailboxes, service accounts, and permissions.
  • Oversee procurement and management of IT equipment.
  • Perform other relevant duties as needed.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certification in IT security (essential).
  • Project Management certification (advantageous).
  • Training in managing Microsoft/Azure networks and platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and M365.
  • Experience with Excel, including Pivot Tables and VBA.
  • Experience with SAP (highly desirable).
  • Initiative in resolving IT issues.
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently within project frameworks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
