About the Role

As the Head of IT & Digital Architecture, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery, maintenance, and continual improvement of IT strategy, services, and operations for both internal and external stakeholders. You will lead a small, dynamic team of IT professionals, focusing on continual improvement and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Oversight: Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT services, with a strong emphasis on secure and efficient operations of the Azure cloud environment, infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications.
2. Technology Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the operational aspects of the technology strategy and roadmap, with Azure as a core component, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise plans.
3. Project Management: Oversee technology change projects throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
4. Risk Management: Identify and implement mitigations for IT-related risks, including business continuity and disaster recovery, with a focus on Azure-based solutions.
5. Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a small IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continual improvement.
6. Performance Monitoring: Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT service delivery and operations, particularly within the Azure environment.

What You Bring:

1. Proven experience leading IT teams and managing large projects within complex, federated environments.
2. Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture, deployment, and management of Azure-based solutions.
3. Expertise in designing and implementing IT services and solutions within global organizations.
4. In-depth knowledge of IT service management, network architecture, and cloud computing.
5. Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Dynamics, Azure Cloud, and Power Platform.
6. Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with senior leaders and technical teams alike.
8. Budget management experience and a strong financial acumen.
9. A collaborative leadership style with a focus on mentorship, training, and team development.
