Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and lead the IT department.
2. Teach IT to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
3. Support students with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours.

About the School – Head of IT – Windsor, Berkshire

This school is housed on a historic site with views of Windsor Castle. The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted and is an independent specialist day school, catering to a diverse group of pupils with complex educational needs. The school has a capacity of up to 130 students, with 90 in the secondary provision. Facilities include a full-size sports hall, MUGA, and specialist classrooms for science, food technology, DT, and computing. Class sizes are small, with up to 8 children per class.

About the Role – Head of IT – Windsor, Berkshire

This school is looking for a Head of IT to join their successful department. You should have at least 1 year of experience teaching IT, but the school will consider other candidates who might be suitable. A degree in IT / Computer Science is preferable, as well as teaching qualifications in the subject. Prior experience as Head of department is preferable but not essential.
