Tria in South London is seeking a Head of IT to shape the school’s digital agenda. This newly created leadership role offers strategic direction, hands-on delivery, and a chance to drive transformation across IT services, infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 adoption.

You will lead technology projects, manage cyber security and compliance, and oversee budgets and suppliers. The role is onsite, full‑time, Monday to Friday, with a supportive leadership team and clear autonomy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT leadership role such as Head of IT or IT Manager.
• Strong infrastructure background across networks, servers and cyber security.
• Experience developing IT strategy and communicating with stakeholders.

£49,000 - £52,000 + 37 hours per week + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension

Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Manager, Head of IT or Network Manager to join a well-established school in a newly created leadership position where you'll have the opportunity to shape the long‑term IT strategy and play a key role in the organisation's digital transformation.

Reporting directly into the Senior Leadership Team, you will take ownership of the school's IT services, infrastructure and digital roadmap. Working across the organisation, you'll lead technology projects, oversee cyber security and compliance, support the continued adoption of Microsoft 365, and help drive innovation across teaching and operational departments.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading an IT function within an education environment or similar organisation. You'll have a strong infrastructure background, experience developing IT strategy and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

The Person:

• Previous experience in an IT leadership role such as IT Manager, Head of IT, Network Manager or similar
• Strong background across IT infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, networking and cyber security
• Experience delivering IT strategy, managing projects, suppliers and budgets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to support users of varying technical ability
• Commutable to South London and happy to work onsite
