Sellick Partnership is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Head of Investment Reporting for a reputable, profitable, and long-established financial services organization based in Greater Manchester.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's ongoing success, with reporting directly to the Group Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the team responsible for investment accounting processes, including valuations and daily box management.
2. Oversee outsourced investment accounting and provide technical accounting support.
3. Drive investment data controls and manage significant change initiatives related to new product types, asset classes, and regulatory developments.
4. Manage the financial close process, including ledger production, reconciliations, and journal entries.
5. Handle cost, project, investment, and tax accounting for the Group and subsidiaries.
6. Own and control the daily box management process, resolving issues and minimizing risks.
7. Build trusted stakeholder relationships and provide credible insights and challenge based on business knowledge.
8. Optionally participate in leadership committees focused on strategic, operational, financial, and risk mitigation.

Candidate Profile:

• Significant relevant industry experience in financial services, with a proven track record in similar roles.
• Strong team-building and delegation skills.
• Solid investment accounting knowledge, including derivatives and OEICs.
• Operational and commercial focus, with the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
• Proactive, self-starting attitude, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong influencing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial acumen and meticulous review capabilities.
• Excellent academic record and a desire to progress in their career.
