Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to lead our Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT) Team. This role involves shaping strategy, overseeing a diverse portfolio of academic, early-phase oncology clinical trials, and collaborating with leading researchers and industry partners. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in clinical research, strong leadership skills, and a passion for patient-centered academic clinical trials.

Key Information

• Salary: £60,200 - £73,444+ (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
• This role is eligible for ICR Sponsorship, including support for visa application costs.
• Duration of Contract: 24 months initially
• Hours per week: 35 (full-time)
• Closing Date: 10 May 2025

Responsibilities

Lead the IIT team, develop trial strategies, oversee trial development and management, and collaborate with stakeholders to advance clinical research in oncology.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in life sciences or a health-related field
• Experience leading clinical trial teams, especially in Phase I oncology trials
• Strong communication and organizational skills
