Rolls-Royce SMR Limited in the UK is seeking a Head of Information Management to shape the enterprise information strategy, govern data, and ensure security across the business. Working with the CISO and senior stakeholders, you will advance the IMS, policies, and assurance programs to drive value from information assets.
This role will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage risk, compliance with GDPR/UK GDPR and nuclear-specific obligations, and oversee partner and customer information
The Head of Information Management will lead the evolution and execution of the organisation’s enterprise-wide information management strategy, ensuring that data and information assets are governed, structured, and secured in line with regulatory, legislative, and nuclear industry standards. Working closely with the CISO and other key stakeholders, the role will build on and develop the information management programme that underpins secure, compliant, and value-driven information practices across the business. This includes the evolution of arrangements with core partners and customers, enshrining compliance and commercial objectives; the maintenance of process and policy suites to provide ongoing, relevant structure to shape wider data and digital activities and initiatives across the organisation; as well as the development of a structured assurance programme to embed new and existing practices while providing active confidence to key stakeholders of the organisation’s progress in information maturity. The role is responsible for: Accountable on behalf of the CDIO on overseeing the company direction on information by working with multiple business areas to ensure information is managed and owned by the business and can be used for value in the organisation. The role holder will work with the CISO, delivery Heads and other key business stakeholders in defining, owning and delivering the strategy on information
This role can be based in Derby, Manchester or Warrington, with flexibility to work between home and the office depending on business needs. There may be some international travel required on an ad hoc basis.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a competency-based interview and may be asked to provide evidence of document management capability. This role requires BPSS checks as part of our onboarding process.
