This role involves leading the development of new indexes that serve as benchmarks for financial products such as Exchange Traded Products (ETPs). The primary responsibility includes client engagement throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation to index launch.

The role entails managing the development and back testing of index rebalance and reconstitution models, creating client-facing analysis based on testing results, and collaborating with internal teams like sales and operations to ensure successful and timely index launches. For internally developed index ideas, the manager will identify and pitch specific clients whose product portfolios and strategies align with the index.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the development of indexes for benchmarking and replication via investment vehicles such as ETPs and structured products.
  • Engage with clients throughout the product development lifecycle, including creating backtests and analysis, and coordinate with internal partners for index launches.
  • Identify clients for pitching internally developed index ideas based on client needs and market opportunities.
  • Develop client-facing collateral to promote new product ideas.
  • Consolidate customer requests from sales to evaluate inbound product opportunities.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Assist the research team in creating content to support marketing and educational efforts for new indexes and investment vehicles.
What We Expect:
  • Proven experience in developing indexes and/or rules-based investment products such as UCITS and ETCs.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced technical skills, including SQL, R, Python, and Databricks.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau to create compelling content for product pitches.
  • Experience with ESG indexes and rules-based investment products is preferred.
What We Offer:

Nasdaq UK provides a competitive compensation package, including an annual bonus, equity grants, and an employee stock purchase program.
