Job summary

The Blue Coat School in England is seeking an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for SEND and Inclusion to join its Senior Leadership Team. This role focuses on shaping and leading inclusive education, with significant strategic investment in SEND and inclusion to improve outcomes for all learners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND provision and inclusion strategies.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Track record of driving school improvement and working collaboratively with families and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership of SEND provision across the school.
• Monitoring and evaluation of outcomes for SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
• Leadership of inclusion, intervention and targeted support programmes.
• Oversight of EHCP processes and statutory responsibilities.
• Leading staff development in adaptive teaching and inclusive practice.
• Developing partnerships with families and external agencies.
• Contribute to the strategic leadership of the Senior Leadership Team.
