As our Head of Inbound Sales, you will be responsible for driving SumUp's Sales Strategy across the UK & IE markets. You will manage and develop our inbound and outbound telesales and growth account management teams, playing a key role in achieving our growth objectives.

What you'll do

  • Lead and develop the existing UK Inbound Sales team.
  • Launch new sales initiatives, such as outbound telesales and growth account management, to upsell and cross-sell to existing merchants via telephone sales.
  • Identify main priorities aligned with the Sales Budget/Plan and oversee their execution.
  • Define and implement strategic initiatives to accelerate growth and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze, structure, and optimize tools, processes, and team productivity.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding of new merchants and retention of existing ones.

You'll be great for this position if

  • You have a background in sales and leadership experience, particularly in developing teams and managing change within large sales organizations.
  • You have experience in industries related to SMEs, such as payments, hospitality, or travel.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • You are self-driven, proactive, pragmatic, and have a positive attitude.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems with a long-term perspective.
