Job Description:

Head of Illicit Trade Prevention (ITP) – Based Central Asia

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global industry leader and lead the development and execution of anti-illicit trade (AIT) strategies to protect products, safeguard brand integrity, and defend business interests against the risks of illegal distribution and counterfeiting.

The role involves managing complex investigations, building intelligence networks, and coordinating with external stakeholders, including law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and intergovernmental organisations.

The successful candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration with internal departments—such as Legal & Compliance, External and Corporate Affairs—while also promoting regulatory frameworks that strengthen enforcement and deterrence.

You will oversee investigative consultants, ensure compliance with internal standards, and provide strategic guidance backed by actionable intelligence. A background in brand protection, customs, security, investigations, or law enforcement is essential, along with excellent communication and project management skills. Prior experience in the pharmaceuticals and FMCG sectors' operations and logistics is preferred. Applicants will require fluency in English and local languages.
