Job Title: Head of IT & Computing with Business Studies Teaching
Location: Tadley, Hampshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of IT & Computing who is also able to teach Business Studies to join our vibrant secondary school in Tadley from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or middle leader ready to take the next step in their career and lead a thriving and innovative department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IT & Computing department, including curriculum development, staff support, and academic progress.

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in IT, Computing, and Business Studies across KS3 to KS5.

  • Inspire students with a passion for technology, computing, and business, fostering a love of learning and preparing them for the digital and commercial world.

  • Drive innovation in teaching methods and integration of technology in learning.

  • Monitor and track student progress, providing targeted support and challenge.

  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and improvement strategies.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS and a relevant degree in IT, Computing, or Business.

  • Proven experience teaching IT/Computing (and ideally Business Studies) at secondary level.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a successful department.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A commitment to inclusive education and high aspirations for all learners.
