Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking a Head of HSQE on a 3‑month FTC to lead strategic HSQE activities across the organisation. You will drive the development, implementation and continual improvement of the integrated management system, ensuring policies and guidance are consistently applied and external accreditations are maintained.

You will provide strategic advice to the HSQE Director, lead external audits, and manage EL/PL claims with brokers, supporting annual renewals and ensuring

Qualifications

• NEBOSH in Health & Safety.
• IEMA Foundation Certification for Environmental Management.
• Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001; ACS and RISQ compliance.
• Ability to advise senior members and clients on HSQE matters.
• Ability to set policies across the organisation in Health, Safety, Quality, Environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure HSQE policies are compliant and up to date.
• Provide independent technical information to Directors and managers.
• Give specialist HSQE advice to managers and contractors to address non-compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and monitor evolving business strategies.
• Assess risk to employees and others and enhance HSQE governance.
• Liaise with external agencies and industry bodies on HSQE matters.
• Propose and monitor measures to comply with quality, health and safety legislation.
• Ensure internal and external audits are conducted and actions closed.
