Job description

Job Opportunity: Head of HR (Part-Time)

Are you a Head of HR seeking a part-time opportunity? We are collaborating with a charity based in Gateshead that is looking for a motivated Head of HR to join their team.

The role offers a salary of £38,588-£44,100 (pro-rata) for two days per week.

The charity supports individuals with learning disabilities in the local community and housing. Having experienced growth over recent years, they are now looking to appoint a Head of HR to lead their people strategy.

The successful candidate will have the vision to advance the organisation’s culture and staff development, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver vital services to their expanding client base.

You will be expected to:

  1. Drive operational HR compliance
  2. Provide strategic and proactive support to the executive team and operational managers

About You

This role is suited for someone passionate about fostering a positive work environment, capable of leading strategically while handling operational HR issues. You should be an experienced HR professional, ideally with Chartered CIPD membership, with a proven track record of managing change and providing expert HR advice in complex situations.
