A food manufacturing company in Middlesbrough is seeking an HR Manager to oversee their HR and payroll functions. The role involves managing employee engagement, advising on company policies, and supporting departmental managers. Ideal candidates will have experience in a varied HR environment, strong organizational skills, and preferably hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification. This full-time position offers a salary range of £45,000 to £55,000.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Manager to take the next step in their career. Internally, this role is known as the Head of HR. You will be responsible for managing our HR and payroll function to support our growing workforce and ensure a positive work environment.
Working within a small and friendly HR and Payroll team you will be responsible for managing all HR matters including but not limited to absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes, mentoring and training & development.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours a week which will generally be worked Monday – Friday, although the site operates on weekends, bank holidays and there is a night shift so some flexibility on occasion may be required. As this is a manufacturing site, the role is site-based. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience. Working with department managers, you will be responsible for:
