About Our Client

This opportunity is with a manufacturing business, known for its commitment to excellence and innovation. Operating in Bicester, the organisation focuses on delivering high-quality products to its customers & sets themselves apart from competitors through their commitment to providing service above and beyond the expected. You will support teams from production and delivery, through to back office function. The Head of HR will have two direct reports.



This is a 12 month project for a senior HR leader to come in and work on large-scale cultural transformation.

Job Description

The Head of HR will:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals.
  • Oversee recruitment processes to attract top talent.
  • Work with the wider people team to manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Develop a performance management system to drive productivity and growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HR matters.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of training and development programs.
  • Monitor and manage HR budgets and resources efficiently.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of HR should have:

  • A strong background in HR, ideally within a manufacturing/ supply or production based environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies.
  • Experience managing recruitment, performance, and employee relations processes.
  • The ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • A desire to help develop and shape the culture of the organisation.

What's on Offer

A salary of between £85,000 - £95,000 per anum + company benefits. This is initially a 12 month FTC to work on the project, but may need to be extended.
