Hull City Council is seeking a highly capable Head of Service for the Strategy, Market Intervention and Growth service. The role leads housing strategy, regeneration, private sector housing standards and growth, driving innovative approaches and ensuring statutory compliance.

You will work with the Assistant Director and senior stakeholders to develop policies, attract resources, and deliver housing-led regeneration across the city, coordinating with partners and government bodies to achieve

• Experience leading a housing strategy / regeneration programme.
• Strong leadership and senior management skills.
• Ability to develop policies and plans in line with statutory duties.
• Stakeholder engagement with developers, housing associations and government bodies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the strategy for housing growth, regeneration and standards.
• Deliver customer-focused services and engage with stakeholders.
• Set performance standards and drive continual improvement.
• Provide visible leadership within the Housing service and partner with senior managers.
• Ensure statutory obligations and regulatory compliance are met.
• Manage budgets, funding, and partnerships to deliver housing projects.
