Job summary

Wolverhampton Grammar School is seeking a highly organised Head of Housekeeping to lead a team of 18 housekeepers across shifts. You will oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the school.

Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will manage resources, support and develop staff, drive continuous improvement, and work closely with the Deputy Supervisor and Estates team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning services, facilities management or school operations.
• Maintains highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the school.
• Strong leadership with staff development and continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 18 housekeepers across morning, daytime and evening shifts.
