ROLE: Head of History

START: September 2024

CONTRACT: Permanent & Full Time

SALARY: Outer London MPS / UPS + TLR

APPLICANTS: Qualified History Teacher with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience

QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching Qualification - UK QTS; 1st / 2:1 History degree

SCHOOL: Secondary School (Faith) – ages 11–18; 1,000+ pupils

• Head of History
• Previous management experience preferred – KS coordinator / 2iC
• Qualified History Teachers ONLY to apply - UK QTS a MUST
• Trained via formal, recognised pathways - PGCE, Schools Direct / SCITT, or Teach First
• Experienced History Teacher – minimum of 3 years (UK curriculum)
• Ability to teach History across KS3, 4 & 5
• 1st class or 2:1 History degree
• Genuine passion and interest for teaching and your subject
• Ability to lead and develop a talented team of History teachers
