Position Summary:
We are seeking a Head of High-Throughput Lab that reports to senior leadership and leads a team of bench scientists that produce high-quality, multi-omic data at scale. Specifically this team is responsible for the end-to-end processing of samples, including histology, cell sorting, extraction of genetic material and preparation for downstream omics analysis. The role includes oversight of lab operations, defining processes that enable consistent quality, instilling a collaborative, excellence-focused culture where the status quo is constantly pressure tested. We are looking for someone who can motivate teams to rally behind a shared mission and brings prior experience scaling and running high-throughput operations. The ideal candidate operates with a growth mindset, pays attention to detail, and has a deep-rooted desire to achieve excellence. Being collaborative is key – in this function, there will be many interactions with other leaders at Quotient, such as in data science, assay development, and target biology. This role is based in the vicinity of Cambridge, UK and will be primarily based on site. All applicants will require permission to work in the UK.
