Head of Health and Safety (part-time)
Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Job Type: Part-time, 3 or 4 days a week
Travel: International travel approximately 6 weeks per year
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Health and Safety to lead global Health and Safety strategy in a thriving food and ingredients business. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of HSE experience - with a strong background in managing H&S in a manufacturing setting and working in a global role with multinational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of a comprehensive Health and Safety strategy.
Provide direction, leadership, and governance to ensure successful implementation of health and safety initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Health and Safety representatives across the global Business Units.
Ensure that the safety of all employees remains a top priority in all operations.
Requirements:
10 years+ of HSE experience.
Proven experience in a global role, interacting with multinational teams.
Strong background in managing health and safety across different countries.
Extensive experience in a manufacturing HSE environment.
Excellent collaboration skills, agility, and pragmatism.
Ability to travel internationally approximately 6 weeks per year.
Office presence required in central London approx 2-5 times per month.
