Responsibilities of the Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality will include:

  • Building strong relationships across the business, engaging operational teams, board members, and site leaders to embed a proactive safety culture
  • Taking full ownership of major safety incidents and fleet-related risks, ensuring robust investigations, audits, and continuous improvements across multiple sites
  • Applying best practices from logistics and distribution experience to drive innovation, ensuring safety is engaging and aligned with business operations
  • Managing and support the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality team, fostering collaboration and future growth

The successful Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality will have:

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality role, ideally within logistics or distribution
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and Chartered IOSH status
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels and gain buy-in for safety initiatives
  • A proactive mindset, driving new initiatives and continuously seeking ways to enhance health, safety, environment, and quality performance
