Head of Health and Safety

Location:Central London (Hybrid)

Job Type:Full-Time

Travel:International travel approximately 6 weeks per year

Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Health and Safety to lead global Health and Safety strategy in a thriving food and ingredients business. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of HSE experience - with a strong background in managing H&S in a manufacturing setting and working in a global role with multinational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of a comprehensive Health and Safety strategy.
• Provide direction, leadership, and governance to ensure successful implementation of health and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Health and Safety representatives across the global Business Units.
• Ensure that the safety of all employees remains a top priority in all operations.

Requirements:

• 10 years+ of HSE experience.
• Proven experience in a global role, interacting with multinational teams.
• Strong background in managing health and safety across different countries.
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing HSE environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills, agility, and pragmatism.
• Ability to travel internationally approximately 6 weeks per year.
• Office presence required in central London approx 2-5 times per month.
