Job Opportunity: Head of Health and Safety

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a full-time Head of Health and Safety to work at a college in Hull. The position is available immediately and initially lasts for three months, with the potential for extension. Compensation ranges from £24 to £32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The role involves a 37-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include leading a small team in the Health and Safety department, ensuring compliance with statutory health and safety requirements, and supporting the college in achieving its strategic health and safety objectives. You will report directly to the Vice Principal. Additional duties may include generating reports for the SLT, renewing critical response plans, and creating risk assessments.

The college is conveniently located in Hull, with onsite free parking and an additional nearby parking option costing £3 per day.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• Level 3 qualification in a related Health and Safety field
• Enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable), and professional references
• Comprehensive CV covering full employment history
