Responsibilities
  • Lead on the integration of health and safety into business planning, project management, and operations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, developing and maintaining frameworks, policies and procedures
  • Oversee audits, inspections and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
  • Champion a strong health and safety culture throughout the organisation
  • Develop and deliver communication and training strategies to embed best practices
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in health and safety, including in a senior leadership role
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Membership of IOSH or equivalent
  • Experience in high risk industries (e.g., construction, manufacturing, energy, transport) is preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
