Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environmental roles, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and UK environmental legislation.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence, negotiate, and lead effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic framework for Safety, Health, and Environmental management.
  • Provide expert technical advice and ensure legal compliance, supporting senior leadership in SHE matters.
  • Lead SHE committees and actively promote a proactive, safety-first culture throughout the organisation.
  • Conduct audits in high-risk areas and spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IEMA Associate Certificate.
  • Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) status preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environmental roles, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and UK environmental legislation.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence, negotiate, and lead effectively.
  • Proficient in data analysis, project management, and professional report writing.
